After years of extensive research, Full Curl Habitat has developed a groundbreaking aquatic amphipod breeding program for Gammarus lacustris freshwater shrimp. These high-protein, carotene-rich scuds significantly enhance the growth rates and color of gamefish that feed on them.  Pound for pound, this forage base cannot be beat.  While our stockings are primarily loaded with Freshwater shrimp, many other bug species will be introduced during the stocking such as: Stone Flys, Mayflies, Caddis and Midges. Whether establishing a new scud population in a fishery or boosting the productivity of an existing one, Gammarus lacustris is a proven solution for creating a high-quality, thriving fishery.

Our principal delivery method for our fresh water shrimp and bug stocking is through Watercress.  This plant is a must have for Streams, Rivers, Ponds and Creeks. It is a natural water purifier, absorbing excess nitrates and phosphates from the water, improving water quality and reducing algae growth. 

    Watercress acts as complete ecosystem for bug life; essentially a hotel and supermarket encompassed into one, ensuring that your fishery has a reproducing food source season after season.
